Thanks to Faith for this video of a bunny being forced to perform on a toy piano. I bet he'd much rather be outside playing ball with his friends.

The Monster Movie Blog has a little feature on Twink, including a link to an MP3 of my toy piano version of the Rosemary's Baby theme. Hear it while you can, perfect for Halloween.

Twinkture! I recently finished a remix for the San Francisco female punk trio Tinkture, a band I like a lot. You can hear the Twink mix of "Color Lacking Void" on their MySpace page. (I'm not sure how long it will be posted there.) Caution to younger and sensitive ears: some curse words in the vocals.

I hope everyone's having a good summer! Thanks to Christy and Lee for pointing out a new review in Skyscraper Magazine. Currently I'm working on a remix for a band I like, more details soon.

Twink is a featured artist on the mobile social network MocoSpace. Check out the site on your phone and get some toytronic ring-a-dingles. In other news, I did another remix for the show Yo Gabba Gabba. Keep an ear out for it at the end of the "Teeth" episode. The tooth fairy rocks!

Some customers were having when buying MP3s, so I moved the MP3 albums to a different host. Things should be working fine now. If you have any trouble with an order please let me know.

Songs and Sonics is a fun site by Jeff Boler of The Simple Carnival. It features tips and tricks for creative musicians, and interviews with unusual bands. Jeff interviewed me about Twink and the recent album. There are also never-before-heard audio clips from the making of the previous disc, Ice Cream Truckin'. Check it out here.

The summer issue of Boston's The Noise has a cover feature on Twink. You can read it here. From the intro:

Twink is a celebration of all things shiny: a joyous parade of bunnies on cloud floats throwing candy in the sunshine. The accompanying artwork is perfectly apropos and beautifully arranged. It is one part "Candy Land," one part "Care Bears," one part "Good Night Moon," and one tiny part acid trip. It's up to you to decide if the combination of a toy piano led band and dreamy rainbow art work is a good or bad trip.

A bunch of updates for summer...

1. The new album is here.
A Very Fine Adventure is twelve fun tracks and a cool interactive CD cover. I think it's the best one yet.

2. All Twink albums are now available as MP3s.
Click "Buy MP3s" on the Discography and album pages. They all come with artwork and liner notes, and are super cheap.

3. The site got a fresh coat of paint and new goodies.
Go grab some free wallpapers for your desktop and iPhone!

Holy cow, my bunny skull logo is now a tattoo! You can get a shirt of it if you're not as brave.
(Thanks to DJ extraordinaire Fred Yarm for the alert!)

The Ice Cream Truckin' CD has the dubious honor of making WFMU's list of "Best charmingly annoying releases" of 2007. Huzzah!

Twink was featured in the Aug. 2007 issue of Vogue Italia. Here's a scan of the page. Too bad I can't read Italian.

Yo Gabba Gabba! The much-anticipated kids' show premieres today on Nick Jr. Upcoming guest stars include Biz Markie, Mark Mothersbaugh, Elijah Wood, Tony Hawk and more. Twink was asked to do a megamix of songs from episode 18 for the characters to dance to at the end of that show.

There is a MySpace page with mp3s to promote the Ice Cream Truckin' CDs. If you have a MySpace account, add Twink as your friend to get news alerts.

The theme is music for modern ice cream trucks. A bunch of fun and crazy electronic musicians and producers remixed some new Twink tracks, and the results are 19 scoops of tasty toy piano tunes. There's even a version of the Mister Softee theme, adding a new arrangement to the familiar melody.

Twink is a featured artist on the magnificent Some Assembly Required site and podcast. SAR covers great eclectic bands, so it's an honor to be mentioned among them.
